Cycling in 2016
Prices start at £40 / €53 per day per person sharing for half-board accommodation in a three star hotel. We offer tailored packages to meet the needs of any group. Many riders come for a week, arriving on Saturday and leaving Sunday. This is where we can offer our most competitive price, but we are pleased to offer flexible arrangements to any group size for any length of stay.
The Hotel
Hotel Mare
We offer half-board accommodation in the excellent Hotel Mare on the seafront in the center of Agropoli, a 10 metre stroll from the beach. You can choose to share with one or two friends, or have your own room for a small extra charge.
We are well aware what longs days days in the saddle can do to your appetite and aim to provide each cyclist with abundant food and drink Breakfast and dinner are provided on each day for the duration of your stay and are included in the price.
Hotel Mare has 43 rooms across 3-floors with each room having a balcony with either a beach view or a view of the hills. Each room has soundproofed walls with en suite bathroom and shower, hairdryer, phone, TV, safe and aircon. Internet WIFI is also avaiable in the hotel.
Transfer
We offer an airport pickup from Naples airport (1 hour) or Rome (3.5 hours) and can deliver you directly to the accommodation. We highly recommend travelling to Naples airport due to its proximity. Cheaper flights are often available via Rome, but please bear in mind the longer transfer before you book.
The transfer costs are highly dependent upon group size. Please get in touch with details of your group size and we can provide you with a quote.
Bike Rental
We organize bike hire for cyclists (although you are welcome to bring your own). We have a wide selection of new high-end professional carbon bikes priced at £95 / €130 per week and a very limited supply of recently purchased aluminium bikes priced at £80 / €100 per week. We recommend that cyclists bring their own pedals and shoes, but for those who can’t, or for those who simply forget, we can also provide pedals and other accessories for a small additional charge.

Guides
As Cilento offers the best of climbing and coastal riding, the guide will be able to tailor the ride to the liking of the group. For larger group sizes we offer cyclists the option of joining a slow or fast group, each with a different guide who will adjust the pace of the ride to coincide wth the abilities of the group members. We attract a variety of levels in the cyclists who come to Cilento. Some are racers while others come for a relaxing week in the sun and we aim to cater for all levels. The cost of the guides are included in the price.
Other activities
Not a cyclist? If you’re bringing your partner and they are not a cyclist, we can arrange extra excursions and activities for them. Have a look at our local attractions page for some ideas which may also give you some inspiration for activities on the optional ‘rest day’.
